Reception Campfire! 🔥✨

This week our Reception children and parents spent time together toasting food around the very first campfire at Smithdown Primary! They had not chocolate and Mrs Naylor very kindly ensured that there was music around the campfire with songs for everybody to enjoy. Children’s behaviour was excellent throughout and it was fantastic to see so many parents having a wonderful time with their children. See you at the next one! 🔥

Giving and Receiving Presents

Today in RE we talked about giving and receiving presents, and always remembering our manners and saying thank you.  We talked about special birthdays and that soon it would be Miss McFarlane’s birthday.  The children helped me to decide what gift to get her and helped me to make some wrapping paper, but ‘shhhh’  don’t tell her it’s a surprise!

Early Years Garden

Today our Nursery and Reception worked together to create a new sensory garden for everybody to enjoy. Watch this space to see what else we grow this year……🍃🌻💐
